Don't leave home without it

Do’s

Know your colors. Ask for a PMS color number (pantone matching system) or spot color version as well as a full color breakdown. Knowing your PMS color numbers will ensure the logo is reproduced consistently time after time. Also note that some colors will appear slightly different broken down into full or four color process. Check with your designer or printer to see how your color will be affected by printing in process color. If you want an exact match, go with the PMS color.

Continue to communicate with your designer even after the design is completed. Your design professional is your best resource to help you understand the various needs of your vendors for the highest quality reproduction of your logo.

Never give out your original file. ALWAYS keep the unaltered original backed up on a disk and on your computer. Make modifications to a copy and never on the original file.
